2011 SID World Congress

This July, Washington D.C. will host to the triennial gathering of the worldwide development community, igniting a new conversation on the challenges of working toward a future of economic and social progress, equity, and sustainability. The 2011 SID World Congress will take place at the historic Omni-Shoreham Hotel from July 29^th - 31^st with the overarching theme “Our Common Challenge: A World Moving toward a Sustainable Future.”

Robert Zoellick, President of the World Bank; Michael Gerson, Washington Post Columnist; John Kufuor, former President of Ghana; and Gayle Smith, Special Assistant to the President of the United States, are among the high-level speakers scheduled to attend.
