This July, Washington D.C. will host to the triennial gathering of the worldwide development community, igniting a new conversation on the challenges of working toward a future of economic and social progress, equity, and sustainability. The 2011 SID World Congress will take place at the historic Omni-Shoreham Hotel from July 29th - 31st with the overarching theme “Our Common Challenge: A World Moving toward a Sustainable Future.”
Robert Zoellick, President of the World Bank; Michael Gerson, Washington Post Columnist; John Kufuor, former President of Ghana; and Gayle Smith, Special Assistant to the President of the United States, are among the high-level speakers scheduled to attend.
Over 1,000 development practitioners from around the world will engage with world leaders and technical experts as we chart the future of foreign assistance. We want you to be a part of this vital discussion!
