Event Description
Intensive 1-day training program designed specifically to provide Fire, Rescue, EMS, and Law Enforcement personnel with the skills and knowledge required to safely and effectively respond to incidents on and through the ice. Course meets and exceeds NFPA 1670 Standard for Technical Rescue and consists of 4 hours of classroom instruction and 5 hours of on/through-the-ice practical sessions. Tuition includes books, materials, training, lunch and snacks, certificates, and insignia.
