Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Analysis of Lithuanian and U.S. markets, business sectors, and companies; provision of related consultations;
  • Assistance to the Commercial Attaché in presenting Lithuania’s business and export potential to U.S. companies and partners, identifying investors, and promoting cooperation in science and innovation between the two countries;
  • Organization and promotion of events and communications aimed at fostering export development, investment, cooperation in science and innovation, and inbound tourism;
  • Proactive outreach to and identification of potential partners;
  • Management of client and contact relationship systems and databases;
  • Document handling and other assigned tasks, including:
  • Assisting in the organization of meetings and business events involving institutional and business representatives;
  • Drafting the Attaché’s electronic and printed correspondence in English and providing translations as required;
  • Performing administrative and technical tasks assigned by the Commercial Attaché.

  • Excellent communication, networking, and collaboration skills; ability to work effectively in a team;
  • Proficiency in English;
  • Strong skills in preparing and delivering information and presentations in English;
  • Ability to analyze, manage, and synthesize information and prepare conclusions;
  • Strong internal motivation, attention to detail, quick responsiveness, and a results-oriented mindset;
  • University-level higher education (no lower than a Bachelor’s degree) or an equivalent higher education qualification, or a final-year student able to work full-time (copies of diplomas or proof of education required);
  • Preferred fields of study: law / business / economics / political science;
  • Additional documents demonstrating relevant professional experience and competencies.

IMPORTANT NOTICE


  • Applicants must have legal authorization to live and work in the United States (valid visa or other permission to reside/work in the U.S.).
  • This is a service contract and is paid based on hours worked.
  • The position does not require being based in Los Angeles; however, being located in LA is an advantage.
