Role Description

Southern Victory Group is seeking a Campaign Intern with a strong interest in electoral politics and campaign operations. This is a part-time, fully remote role designed for individuals who are eager to gain hands-on experience supporting active political campaigns.

The Campaign Intern will assist with day-to-day campaign support, research and project coordination, fundraising and donor outreach activities, and the preparation of communications and briefing materials. Interns will work closely with senior team members and gain direct exposure to the operational side of political campaigns.

This role is ideal for someone who has previously volunteered or worked on a campaign and is looking to deepen their experience in political fundraising, campaign operations, and strategy.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications
  • Demonstrated interest in political campaigns, electoral politics, or political consulting
  • Previous campaign experience (volunteer or paid) strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with basic campaign operations, structures, or fundraising workflows
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly for outreach and internal coordination
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to support research and strategic decision-making
  • Proficiency with basic project management tools and digital collaboration platforms
  • Currently pursuing or holding a bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Communications, or a related field (preferred, not required)
