Campaign Interns support the implementation and day-to-day operations within their assigned Region.
Working under the supervision of the Regional Field Director, interns assist with volunteer recruitment, voter contact, stakeholder engagement, election integrity operations, and field operations while gaining hands-on experience in grassroots organizing and campaign management.
This internship is designed to provide practical experience in political field operations and grassroots organizing to college students, and provide opportunities for promotion to leadership roles within the campaign.
Interns report to their assigned Regional Field Director.
Requirements/Responsibilities:
- Assist the Regional Field Director with achieving assigned field goals.
- Support volunteer recruitment and engagement efforts.
- Conduct door-to-door canvassing, phone banking, and other voter contact activities.
- Enter daily activity and volunteer metrics into the campaign CRM.
- Attend volunteer training, campaign events, and stakeholder meetings as assigned.
- Maintain frequent communication with the Regional Field Director regarding assigned projects and progress.
- Demonstrate professionalism, strong communication skills, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize assignments, problem solve, and work independently or as part of a team.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as campaign activities require.
