Job Description

Company Description

Ben Allen for Insurance Commissioner is a statewide campaign working to protect California consumers and hold the insurance industry accountable. It’s also a historic race: this is the first time two Democrats have faced off for Insurance Commissioner. We’re a small, energetic team, and we like bringing new people into politics.

Role Description

We’re looking for individuals who are to eager to see how a real campaign works from the inside. No experience needed. You just need curiosity and a willingness to jump in.

  • Time commitment: 4–6 hours a week, on a schedule that works for you
  • Where: in person at our campaign office, or virtually
  • What you’ll do: mostly phone banking and talking with voters, plus pitching in wherever the campaign needs a hand
  • What you’ll get: hands-on campaign experience, a behind-the-scenes look at how a statewide race is run, something real to put on your résumé or college applications, and a letter of recommendation

Who Should Apply

  • High school or college students
  • Anyone interested in politics, public service, or making an impact in their community
  • People who are reliable, friendly, and up for talking to voters

The campaign runs through Election Day on November 3, so now is the time to get involved.
