The Office of U.S. Senator Tammy Duckworth seeks a full-time Caseworker & Community Outreach Coordinator based in the Senator’s Chicago Office. Responsibilities include representing the Senator at events and meetings throughout the greater Chicago metro area, tracking and providing analysis on key issues, building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders and elected officials and staffing the Senator as needed. The ideal applicant must be self-motivated and team oriented, be able to multi-task effectively and have a strong knowledge of issues impacting Veteran and military communities. Applicants should have excellent written and oral communication skills. Previous experience working in a government office and with federal or state Veterans affairs is also preferred.
