U.S. Senator seeking a Regional Outreach Director for her state office to manage the day-to-day outreach operations of the Central Washington region in Washington State.

The staffer would act as the Senator's liaison to all government, community and constituent groups and leaders in the geographic area; monitor developments, opinions and concerns, and update the Senator accordingly; attend civic meetings and community events to represent the Senator in her absence; as well as other duties assigned by the State Director.

The ideal candidate will have excellent oral and written communications skills and the ability to efficiently multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Preferred applicants will have three to five years of experience in government and/or community outreach and a strong knowledge of local issues, geography and demographics in the region.

This staffer will cover Central Washington, which includes Franklin, Benton, Yakima, Chelan, Douglas, Kittitas, Grant, Klickitat, Walla Walla, and Columbia counties.

The staffer is based out of Richland, WA with regular travel throughout the region required. Salary is $82,000.00
