POSITION OVERVIEW
SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
Cornerstone seeks a full-time, team-oriented individual to work closely with our Senior Manager, Compliance and Counsel to assist with day-to-day administrative compliance related matters.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting with the coordination and organization of client contracts and documentation;
- Assisting with the firm’s compliance needs, including maintaining data and records related to federal and state reporting;
- Supporting the Senior Manager, Compliance and Counsel with firm-wide trainings and guidance materials;
- Performing special projects and handling ad hoc requests.
COMPETENCIES
An ideal candidate for this position is a skilled multi-tasker, collaborator, and has excellent time management skills. Experience in dealing with confidential and legal matters is preferred. Demonstrated organizational skills and strong attention to detail are critical qualifications for this position, as well as the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate for this position has a bachelor’s degree or advanced degree/certificate in legal or business studies, and 1-3 years of relevant work experience as well. An interest in the law, as well as strong writing, research, and organizational skills are essential to a successful candidate.
