The Office of Colorado U.S. Senator Michael Bennet seeks a Constituent Advocate to assist and support the people of Colorado. The position will report to the Director of Constituent Services.

Responsibilities: The Constituent Advocate serves as a liaison between members of the public and government agencies to help resolve issues. The Constituent Advocate team, and this position, will support a broad portfolio of agency inquiries, including those related to Immigration services, the Department of Veterans Affairs, branches of the military, the U.S. Department of State, and the Passport office, among others. The position may also serve as the point of contact for constituent requests for letters of support, which requires engaging with legislative and outreach staff to draft and edit letters.

Skills/experience: This position requires creative problem-solving skills, an ability to multitask, the ability to learn and navigate agency processes, and a willingness to learn and operate the office's Constituent Relationship management software (Intranet Quorum). The ideal candidate will be an energetic self-starter who can engage with constituents in an empathetic and caring manner and be flexible with daily assignments, tasks, and priorities. Prior work experience in a federal legislative office and/or federal agency preferred.

Location: Metro Denver Region location preferred. This position is eligible to work a hybrid schedule with both remote and in-office time to support constituents with walk-in requests for assistance.

Compensation: $48,000 - $52,000 and federal benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, parental leave, retirement, and student loan repayment program based on eligibility.
