Content & Communications Associate
Westport, CT | Full-Time
Every great library has a great story to tell, and this is the person who tells it. We're looking for a writer-strategist to turn our programs, campaigns, and community moments into content people actually read: emails they open, pages that convert, and stories that make the case for why libraries matter.
What you'll own:
• Our email program: the We Read newsletter, biweekly e-blasts, and campaigns in ActiveCampaign
• Event landing pages and SEO in WordPress, backed by UTM and Google Analytics data
• Story-driven media: event features, Impact Stories, and press outreach
What you bring:
• Proven copywriting and email/digital marketing experience, with hands-on ActiveCampaign and WordPress chops
• Working SEO knowledge and a data-driven approach to what you write
• Sharp organization: you can run a ~30 event/month pipeline without missing a beat
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, English, or related field (or 4 years' equivalent experience). Nonprofit, cultural institution, or library experience a plus.
