Role Description
This is a part-time/full-time hybrid/remote role based in Annapolis, MD, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The Coordinator of Volunteers will be responsible for recruiting, training, and supporting volunteers to align with organizational goals. Daily tasks include planning volunteer programs, facilitating training sessions, managing schedules, fostering strong relationships with volunteers, and collaborating with community partners for outreach initiatives. The coordinator will maintain records and ensure effective communication to support a thriving volunteer network.
Qualifications (Preferred, not mandatory)
- Experience in Volunteer Training and Volunteer Management
- Exceptional Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities
- Knowledge and experience in Community Outreach
- Proficiency in organizational tools, scheduling systems, and database management
- Ability to motivate and inspire teams, with a focus on collaboration
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail
- Experience working in nonprofit or mission-driven organizations is a plus
- Extensive research experience or training
- Ability to keep records and all information confidential (You will sign an NDA - Non-Disclosure Agreement)
