Purpose and Scope
The Project Implementation Coordinator plays a key role in driving the delivery of projects across the Association, ensuring initiatives move from planning through successful completion. This role is responsible for the logistics, organization, and execution of program products, resources, and promotions, with a strong emphasis on delivering projects on time, on budget, and according to plan.
The Coordinator is responsible for managing an assigned portfolio of projects, ensuring each initiative is clearly structured, actively managed, and successfully delivered within Teamwork. This role contributes to project planning, owns project tracking and organization, and drives execution of initiatives. The Coordinator may also serve as the Project Manager for select projects, ensuring delivery aligns with the Planning & Design project plan and Ministry Program goals.
Working closely with Project Managers and reporting to the Manager, Project Implementation, the Coordinator actively monitors project tasks and milestones, identifies gaps, and initiates communication when progress is at risk. This role serves as a driver of project delivery - maintaining momentum, addressing risks, and ensuring alignment with scope, timeline, and resource expectations. The Coordinator escalates issues as needed to protect delivery outcomes and supports cross-divisional collaboration to ensure projects remain aligned and on track.
Success in this role is demonstrated by consistently delivering projects and program materials with accuracy, timeliness, and alignment to defined goals. This includes effectively managing assigned initiatives, contributing to planning, maintaining clear and actionable project structures, and ensuring strong coordination across teams. Success requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting the goals of Ministry Programs.
Essential Job Functions
1. Project Planning & Collaboration
- Ensure all project plans, tasks, and milestones are clearly defined, actionable, and actively maintained.
- Establish and maintain project structures within the project management system (Teamwork), ensuring all projects are properly organized and documented.
- Coordinate dependencies across tasks, teams, and timelines to ensure seamless project progression.
- Maintain alignment of projects with defined scope, goals, and the specific intended outcomes for each Ministry Program in alignment with Planning & Design and overall Ministry Program goals.
2. Coordination & Project Support
- Maintain accurate and organized project records, documentation, and real-time updates within the project management system.
- Drive cross-divisional collaboration and partner with team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment and accountability.
- Provide regular status updates regarding progress, risks, and key milestones, and coordinate meetings when needed.
- Escalate to leadership critical constraints or risks when tasks or deliverables are not progressing as planned and support timely resolution.
3. Project Management & Execution
- Serve as the Project Manager for select projects, managing an assigned portfolio of projects, ensuring each is driven to completion.
- Actively monitor and drive the completion of tasks to ensure projects remain strictly on track.
- Proactively identify risks, delays, and barriers, taking immediate action to protect delivery timelines.
- Drive the delivery of assigned projects by maintaining momentum, resolving blockers, and ensuring completion within resource expectations, ensuring projects reach their intended final outcomes.
Staff Devotions
· Participate in daily morning staff devotions. Serve by praying and reading Scripture in support of devotion leaders on a rotating basis.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Training & Development
Non-physical
- Strong Project Management disciplines with proven ability to plan, prioritize and perform multiple projects of complex work in a fast-paced work environment.
- Understanding of marketing and communications methods.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of general fundraising processes.
- Proven critical thinking ability and discernment skills.
- Strong sense of discretion with confidential information in working with Association’s donor database.
- Proven, focused, and self-motivated starter; able to work independently.
- Strong PC skills including proficiency in widely used software applications, especially Microsoft Office applications and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff, members, and vendors.

Work Environment and Time Requirements
- Climate-controlled office environment
- 8-hour workday
- Variations in work volume sometimes require extended working hours
- Infrequent travel required as necessary
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of communications, business experience or equivalent work experience
- Demonstrated project management experience
- PC experience, especially in Microsoft Office applications and customer database
- Successful completion of a drug and background screen
Preferred Qualifications
