Job Description


Senator Angela D. Alsobrooks seeks an experienced Creative Director to join a fast-paced communications team to manage digital and creative strategy and produce digital assets (videos, photos, graphics, and more) for the Senator. This position will help disseminate the principal’s vision and message across digital media channels, engage digital surrogates, run the e-mail program, and more. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Run all social/digital media communications
  • Work with Communications team to disseminate the principal’s message across social channels 
  • Develop and maintain Official Senate website
  • Create digital assets, including video (filming, cutting, and editing), graphics, photos, and other creative materials for newsletters, social media, and more
  • Capture content at major public-facing events
  • Work with digital influencers

Applicants should have a deep understanding of how digital strategies and technologies integrate into a Senator's goals, work, and communications. The ideal candidate has substantial experience with video/photography. Fluency in Adobe Creative suite and familiarity with captioning and editing videos are required. The Creative Director will travel with the Senator to capture content at events. This position reports to the Communications Director, and is not an entry-level.
