Deputy Director, Government Affairs

The organization seeks a Deputy Director of Government Affairs to lead efforts in advocating for LGBTQ+ the organization at the federal level. This role involves developing and executing lobbying strategies, building relationships with congressional offices, and coordinating with coalition partners to advance legislative initiatives. The ideal candidate will have at least eight years of federal policy experience, particularly in health care policy, and possess strong communication skills. A commitment to LGBTQ+ equality and an understanding of intersectional issues are essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively within a team. The position requires on-site attendance at least two days a week.
