Under the supervision of the Information Officer II in the Media and Strategic Section, the Deputy Press Secretary performs a variety of analytical tasks related to the efficient functioning of the Office of Communications. Assignments may cover a number of areas, including but not limited to:
This position has been designated as eligible for telework and is currently a remote-centered position. The position may however require in-person attendance when requested. The selected candidate would report to Department of Justice office in Sacramento when required to attend mandated in-person meetings, trainings, etc. Expenses related to travel to the office for required events are the responsibility of the employee. All telework schedules are subject to change and may be reevaluated at any time.
