Company Description Chinese for Affirmative Action (CAA) was founded in 1969 to protect the civil and political rights of Chinese Americans and to advance multiracial democracy in the United States. Today, CAA is a progressive voice in and on behalf of the broader Asian American and Pacific Islander community. We advocate for systemic change that protects immigrant rights, promotes language diversity, and remedies racial and social injustice. Role Description The Development Manager plays a key role in advancing Chinese for Affirmative Action’s (CAA) fundraising goals. Reporting to the Director of Development, the Development Manager manages the execution of annual and long-term development strategies that sustain and grow CAA’s base of supporters. This position is responsible for managing fundraising, cultivating donor relationships, organizing events and overseeing key aspects of donor communications and operations. The Development Manager works closely with the Development team at CAA and Stop AAPI Hate, mobilizes staff across the organization, and external partners to inspire broad and deep support for CAA’s mission. Reports to: Director of Development Position Type: Full Time, 40 hours per week Salary Range: $97,500 – $103,000 per year Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. At least 2 days/week in office.
