Job Title: Development Manager Location: Charlotte, NC (regular in-person meetings required) Employment Type: Part-Time (20 hours/week) Reports to: Executive Director Feeding Charlotte is a vibrant food rescue organization addressing food waste and food insecurity in Mecklenburg County. Since our founding in 2019, we’ve partnered with commercial kitchens to rescue surplus, unserved meals and deliver them to nonprofit organizations that serve people facing food insecurity. Our mission is powered by a dedicated network of volunteers and partners committed to reducing food waste and nourishing our community. Position Overview We are seeking a passionate and experienced Development Manager to join our small, dedicated team on a part-time basis. This role will be instrumental in building out and strengthening our fundraising efforts, including grant writing, helping us secure the resources needed to scale our food rescue operations and deepen our community impact. The Development Manager will work closely with the Executive Director and engage directly with donors, partners, and the broader Charlotte community. This position offers significant growth potential, with the opportunity to transition to full-time as our fundraising program expands. Key Responsibilities Qualifications Why Join Us?
