U.S. Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) is seeking a Digital Assistant to join his fast-paced communications team. This is a hands-on role for a strong writer with a digital background who can work quickly and excel in a high-volume media environment. Responsibilities include managing the Senator’s social media and rapid-response efforts, monitoring and tracking media coverage, filming and editing videos, producing clips from interviews, speeches, and hearings, drafting social media copy and press materials, creating graphics, updating the website, compiling daily press clips, and performance reports. Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Canva, and Grabien is preferred.
