Position Summary
The Global Policy Director will lead The Digital Chamber’s international policy strategy, with a primary focus on UK and European engagement, and broader coordination across global markets.
This role will serve as the central point of leadership for transatlantic policy alignment, working closely with CryptoUK to ensure a cohesive and influential presence across the UK and Europe, while supporting strategic expansion into Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa.
The position requires a senior leader who can navigate complex regulatory environments, influence policy outcomes, and build coalitions across governments and industry.

The Digital Chamber works directly with policymakers, regulators, and industry leaders across the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, and globally to develop frameworks that enable growth while maintaining market integrity and financial stability.
Key Responsibilities
US & UK Policy Leadership (Core Priority)
Lead development and execution of a UK– US policy strategy, ensuring alignment across UK and EU regulatory frameworks.
· Serve as the primary liaison between The Digital Chamber and CryptoUK, ensuring coordinated policy positions, messaging, and engagement.
· Monitor and influence key regulatory developments, including UK digital asset and payments frameworks and EU regulatory regimes such as MiCA.
· Build and manage relationships with UK HM Treasury, FCA, European Commission, and key EU member state regulators.
· Drive participation in major transatlantic and European policy forums, including initiatives such as the U.S.-UK Transatlantic Taskforce for Markets of the Future (TTMF).
Transatlantic Coordination
· Strengthen UK–US alignment on digital asset policy priorities, including stablecoins, market structure, and tokenization.
· Identify opportunities for regulatory interoperability and mutual recognition frameworks.
· Support bilateral engagements, delegations, and joint policy initiatives across the U.S., UK, and Europe.
Global Expansion & Strategic Alliances
· Support expansion across Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa.
· Build relationships with policymakers and industry leaders to position the organization globally.
· Identify and execute opportunities for multilateral collaboration and global policy alignment.
Policy Development & Advocacy
· Lead development of global policy frameworks, comment letters, and strategic briefings.
· Coordinate responses to international consultations, RFIs, and regulatory proposals.
· Translate complex regulatory developments into clear, actionable insights for members.
Stakeholder Engagement
· Represent The Digital Chamber in international policy forums, government meetings, and industry events.
· Convene stakeholders through working groups, roundtables, and strategic dialogues.
· Support member engagement by connecting global policy developments to business impact.
Internal Coordination
· Collaborate across policy, government affairs, and working groups to ensure alignment on global priorities.
· Support integration and coordination with CryptoUK and other international partners.
· Advise senior leadership on global regulatory trends, risks, and opportunities.
Qualifications
· 5+ years of experience in public policy, government affairs, or international relations, preferably in financial services, fintech, or digital assets.
· Deep understanding of UK and EU regulatory frameworks, with strong familiarity with global policy environments.
· Demonstrated experience working across multiple jurisdictions and regulatory regimes.
· Strong network with policymakers, regulators, and industry stakeholders in the UK and Europe.
· Ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels in a fast-paced environment.
· Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred Qualifications
· Familiarity with MiCA, UK digital asset regimes, and cross-border regulatory coordination.
· Experience building international coalitions, trade associations, or policy initiatives.
