229097 BILINGUAL DIGITAL COMMUNICATIONS ASSISTANT -

The Office of Senator Mark Kelly seeks a creative, self-driven individual, with written and verbal Spanish fluency, to serve as Digital Communications Assistant on his active communications team. This role will be based in either the Washington, D.C. or Phoenix office and report to the Digital Director. 

 

Primary responsibilities include helping manage video filming, editing, and captioning; drafting and posting social media content; developing and maintaining a content calendar; assisting in the management of the office website; helping produce constituent newsletters; assisting with translations; and drafting Spanish-language content. Other responsibilities may also include support with drafting communications materials such as press advisories, quotes, and memos. 

 

Qualified applicants will have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, be well organized and detail-oriented, able to multitask, and possess strong interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate has experience writing for social media platforms, follows online trends and the news of the day, and thinks creatively about online communications. 

 

Candidates with Arizona ties preferred, and written and verbal Spanish proficiency is required. Experience with photography, videography, and photo and video editing software such as Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus, but not required.  

 

This is an entry level position with a salary of $50,000 and is eligible for benefits.
