Position Summary: The Digital Fundraising Director is responsible for building and developing an online fundraising powerhouse through email marketing, SMS fundraising – broadcast and P2P, and digital advertising.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the DCCC fundraising program to optimize growth and donor lifetime value through email, SMS, and digital advertising.
  • Own A/B test strategies across fundraising channels and landing pages.
  • Monitor deliverability and strategize optimization within different segments of the email, broadcast, and P2P lists.
  • Cultivate a positive team environment and culture with an emphasis on collaboration, hard work, and respect.
  • Collaborate across the team and committee to identify ideas for new, innovative digital fundraising campaigns.
  • Develop and manage vendor relationships.
  • Other duties as needed.

Requirements:

  • Ideal candidate is someone who can think outside the box and three steps ahead.
  • Must understand the politics of cross-team collaboration and communication as well as how to manage and grow a team.
  • Strong people and project management skills.
  • 5+ years of experience writing fundraising content, preferably for an electoral campaign, advocacy organization, or nonprofit.
  • At least one cycle of management experience.
  • Strong writing skills and attention to detail
  • Strategic problem solver.
  • Experience working with IBM Silverpop, NGP, Blue State Digital or a similar eCRM
  • Experience in HTML and CSS preferred
  • Availability during evening and weekend hours; ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Commitment to the election of Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) is the official national Democratic campaign committee charged with electing Democrats to the U. S. House of Representatives.
