Director of Admissions and Events

The Academy of Interactive Entertainment (AIE), a post-secondary non-profit organization, is a leading specialist educator in Video Game Development for the fields of Programming, 3D Game Art & Animation, and VFX. Established in Australia in 1996, AIE educates students for employment and career opportunities through the provision of world-class education as well as acting as a catalyst to build these industries.

AIE is looking for a Director of Admissions and Events to take charge of our Admissions and Events Department, ensuring prospective students receive exceptional guidance throughout their enrolment journey.

About the Role

As the Director of Admissions and Events, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing strategic admissions and events processes to place students in programs tailored to their aspirations. You will lead a talented team of Admission Advisors and Events Officers to provide consultative support from initial contact through to enrolment, fostering a high level of student satisfaction. Your leadership will ensure that the department operates with efficiency, professionalism, and an in-depth knowledge of AIE’s courses and campuses.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Admissions Department to provide top-tier consultation to prospective students.
• Develop, implement, and refine sales and event strategies that effectively place students in suitable courses.
• Collaborate with the Director of Marketing and Head of Schools to align marketing strategies with the admissions and events workflow.
• Ensure the CRM system is utilized effectively for tracking student engagement and communication.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators, ensuring continuous improvement.
• Facilitate collaboration between admissions and events and other departments to streamline enrolment processes.
• Provide sales training, events training and school visit mentorship to the Admissions and Events team and relevant staff.
• Ensure admissions advisors take a consultative approach, guiding students toward the best educational pathways.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluations, and training of Admission Advisors and Events Officers.
• Uphold the highest standards of transparency, collaboration, and professionalism across departments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
