Essential Duties and Responsibilities

. Acts as an ambassador of Palmetto Goodwill and our I-CARE (Integrity, Collaboration, Attitude, Respect, Excellence) values.
Marketing & Communications
. Oversee Palmetto Goodwill's internal and external agency communications and brand management.
. Convey Goodwill's mission to all customers, guests, donors, team members and constituencies in a consistent, compelling manner that leads to increased effectiveness of programs, earned media and philanthropic and community investment.
. Oversee all digital and traditional marketing efforts including website management, social media, email marketing, advertising, and content creation.
. Oversee the creation and dissemination of press releases, articles, presentations, and other communication materials that ensure brand consistency across all channels and touchpoints, maintaining a strong and compelling brand image.
. Maximize earned media and tracks media coverage, ensuring consistent placing/publishing of positive media stories.
. Ensure brand consistency across all internal and external communications.
. Monitor and analyze marketing KPI's to inform data-driven decision making.
Community Engagement
. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, nonprofit partners, and local businesses.
. Represent Palmetto Goodwill at community events, forums, and coalitions to promote programs and services.
. Oversee volunteer engagement strategies to increase community involvement.
. Coordinate community-based campaigns and initiatives that align with Palmetto Goodwill's mission and brand strategy.
Advocacy & Public Affairs
. Advocate for Palmetto Goodwill priorities and funding at the local, state, and national levels.
. Build relationships with elected officials, government agencies and advocacy coalitions.
. Coordinate opportunities for CEO to communicate Palmetto Goodwill's message to influential groups throughout the territory.
. Monitor legislative and policy developments that impact Palmetto Goodwill.
. Develop advocacy materials, talking points and position statements to support public policy efforts.
Resource Development
. Lead the execution of a comprehensive resource development strategy including corporate sponsorships, grants, and special events.
. Identify and cultivate relationships with philanthropists, foundations, and corporate partners.
. Oversee donor and sponsor communications and recognition programs.
. Collaborate on development of grant proposals.
Leadership and Team Management
. Manage and develop a team of professionals in marketing, communications, and outreach to achieve desired outcomes in alignment with the organization's mission, vision, values, and strategic goals.
. Foster ACE culture and I-CARE values among the team and across the organization.
. Develop and manage departmental budgets ensuring alignment with organization priorities.
. Drive internal communication strategy to ensure key messaging is received by all team members.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not have direct reports.

. Experience leading marketing and/or outreach campaigns.
