This role will partner with leading policy organizations, technical experts, and industry leaders to build a best-in-class policy menu capable of accelerating supply-side growth across multiple technologies and markets.

What you will do

Develop and maintain the Energy Advocacy Organization’s core policy framework and “policy menu,” focused on accelerating supply-side energy growth.

Identify and synthesize best practices from across the country — including advanced nuclear, geothermal, grid modernization, distributed generation, storage, siting and permitting reform, and electricity market design.

Build and maintain relationships with national policy organizations, think tanks, technical experts, and industry

leaders to ensure access to cutting-edge research and model frameworks.

Translate high-level concepts into actionable legislative language, regulatory proposals, and implementation roadmaps tailored to state environments.

Draft model legislation, policy memos, regulatory filings, and white papers that can be deployed by state campaign teams.

Serve as a subject matter expert in legislative hearings, regulatory proceedings, stakeholder forums, and media engagements.

Partner closely with the Director of State Campaigns to ensure policy ambition aligns with political feasibility.

Monitor emerging technologies and market trends to continuously refine and evolve the organization’s policy platform.
