Job Description
The organization is seeking a Director of State Government & Stakeholder Affairs to spearhead engagement with key state policy organizations and national political associations. This role involves developing and executing strategies for participation in high-impact state policy events while fostering relationships with attorneys general offices, governors’ teams, and consumer advocacy groups. The ideal candidate will have 7 to 12+ years of experience in state government relations or public policy, with a strong ability to navigate bipartisan environments. Familiarity with financial services or labor policy is preferred, along with exceptional communication skills and a willingness to travel 30-50% nationally.
