This role is dedicated to U.S. Local Regulatory and Production Policy, focusing on studio locations in California, New Jersey, New Mexico, and New York within the UCAN Public Policy team. The position is based in Los Angeles, California, with significant travel.
The UCAN Public Policy team within Global Affairs advocates for a legislative and regulatory environment conducive to growth in the U.S. and Canada and serves as a strategic partner to internal business groups as they navigate the policy world.
About The Role
As part of this team, the successful candidate will be a key leader in helping Netflix productions succeed across the country. You will work closely with film commissions, governors’ offices, state and local officials, and other stakeholders to proactively remove impediments to production by developing and advocating for sound policies and streamlined processes that enable efficient production and support the permitting and zoning needs of Netflix House projects nationwide. Additionally, you will collaborate with industry partners to clearly communicate the qualitative and quantitative economic benefits of film production at the state and local level.

Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $460,000.00 - $700,000.00.
