Job Description
The office of Congresswoman Analilia Mejia (NJ-11) is seeking a hardworking, organized, and collaborative District Staff Assistant. Responsibilities include but are not limited to answering/logging phone calls, managing the district internship program, compiling a weekly casework report, liaising with federal, state, and local agencies on behalf of constituents and meeting with constituents. This role may be assigned other duties as needed.
Ideal candidates will have exceptional oral and written communication skills, have a friendly and professional demeanor, display strong attention to detail, possess good judgement and be effective at time management. This individual will often interact with constituents and will be expected to exercise discretion and independent judgment as part of their primary job duties. These essential job functions must be performed in-person.
This is a full-time position. This office offers benefits including competitive options for health, dental, vision, and life insurance; retirement match; and student loan repayment.
