Location: This position is based in Washington, DC and will work in the DSCC’s IE’s office.
Description
The DSCC is seeking an Independent Expenditure Research Director for the 2024 election cycle. The position reports to the Independent Expenditure Director and will manage DSCC research staff and oversee research efforts on the independent expenditure.
This position will coordinate with paid media, polling firms on content and testing. This position will attend all calls with pods.
What You’ll Do
- Manage research staff on the DSCC IE
- Develop, implement and oversee research approval process for paid media and polling
- Work with DSCC’s legal team to assess risks of paid media and polling;
- Performing other skills as needed
About You
- 3+ cycles, of political paid research experience on behalf of either an agency, IE, campaign, or other political organization
- Highly organized and attentive to detail
- Experience with managing high-volume research programs with numerous competing deadlines
- Experience managing teams that include both staff and consultants
- Experience working with legal teams
- Committed to a no drama workplace
