As part of this bold expansion, we are looking for a Sacramento-based enterprise-focused Politics Reporter to join the California Post team. Reporting into the Politics Editor, this role will dig beneath the headlines to uncover stories that matter, whether through data-driven investigations, public records, or exclusive sources. You will produce deeply reported, narrative-rich storytelling that holds the powerful to account across California’s political landscape. This is a role for a reporter with great contacts, sharp instincts, and the drive to pursue stories others miss. The ideal candidate is a natural digger: someone who sees red flags in campaign finance records, knows how to get officials on the phone, on and off the record, and can turn a tip into a must-read exclusive to lead our digital platforms and front page. Pay Range: $95,000 - $125,000
