Role Description The Executive Assistant to the President is a full-time hybrid role based in Rockwall, TX, with some work-from-home flexibility. This position provides high-level administrative support to the President, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, coordinating travel, and preparing expense reports. The Executive Assistant will draft and edit correspondence, presentations, and board materials, while ensuring timely communication and follow-up on key initiatives. Daily responsibilities include organizing files and records, maintaining contact databases, and supporting logistics for events, donor meetings, and speaking engagements. The role also involves handling confidential information with discretion, anticipating administrative needs, and collaborating with staff and partners to facilitate efficient operations aligned with the organization’s mission.
Qualifications
- Strong Executive Administrative Assistance and Executive Support skills, including managing priorities for senior leadership.
- Experience with Administrative Assistance and Calendaring, such as scheduling meetings, coordinating travel, and maintaining organized records.
- Proficiency in preparing and tracking Expense Reports and other administrative documents with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including drafting professional emails, reports, and presentations.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information responsibly.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with capacity to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Comfort with office software and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, calendar and video conferencing platforms).
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with a service-oriented mindset and alignment with the organization’s Christian mission.
- Relevant experience supporting executive leadership; nonprofit or ministry experience is beneficial.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience
