The organization seeks an External Affairs Associate to enhance its conservation advocacy efforts in Ohio. This role involves building strategic partnerships with lawmakers, conservation groups, and industry stakeholders to promote environmental policies. Key responsibilities include managing legislative outreach, organizing grassroots initiatives, and coordinating internal projects to support the Ohio Policy and Government Relations team. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree, at least two years of relevant experience, and a strong understanding of state and federal legislative processes, particularly in conservation and climate issues. Regular travel to the Columbus office and other advocacy locations is required.
