The Democratic staff of the U.S. Congress Joint Economic Committee (JEC) invite applications for an in-person legal fellowship for fall 2026. The legal fellow can expect to learn about and contribute to investigations and oversight efforts – all within the fast-paced Hill context. Applicants should be current law students with a demonstrated commitment to public service, attention to detail, and strong research and writing skills. Previous Hill experience is a plus but not required. Please send a resume, cover letter (indicating your availability from September – December), and 2-page writing sample to Jobs_JEC-Dems@jec.senate.gov with “Legal Fellow” in the subject line.
