This job is located in field offices around Georgia

Who You Are

• 1 year of experience on as a Field Organizer and/or history in community organizing
• Experience in high-quality paid field work on campaigns preferred
• A quick learner with a strong organizational system and knowledge in Excel/Google Sheets or desire to learn
• Experience recruiting, hiring, training, and managing a diverse field staff, paid canvassing team and/or volunteers
• Working knowledge of and experience working with VoteBuilder (VAN) preferred
• Strong communications and organizational skills, ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Must have access to a car and possess a valid driver's license

What You'll Do

• Execute voter contact efforts, such as canvasses, phone banks, and voter registration that empower community members and turn volunteers into leaders
• Work closely with Constituency Services team to connect voters with relevant elected officials and services
• Build events online and in person that reflect the diversity of state and our message for One Georgia
• Work directly with local Democratic parties and other allies to leverage each one's competitive advantages and avoid redundancies
• Collaborate with the Political and Voter Protection teams to plan and execute ID, persuasion, absentee, and GOTV programs
• Identify constituency organizing programs that have historically been underrepresented in campaigns and are crucial to our success
• Build durable information flows with grassroots activists and staff on the ground to ensure that findings in the field are incorporated into modeling, messaging and events across the state
• Attend local events to recruit volunteers, build new community relationships, and strengthen existing relationships

Salary

The salary for this position is $5,000 a month and takes into account the required skills and experience.
