Job Description
The Finance Manager, State Educational Programming is a mid-level position that oversees the implementation of fundraising programs for both 501(c)(4) organizations. The Finance Manager reports to the GOPAC Network Finance Director. The ideal candidate is a results-driven professional who has experience with individual, foundation, non-profit organization, corporate, and digital fundraising programs.

Position Scope and Responsibilities:
• Manage relationships with corporate members, foundations, non-profits, sponsors, and investors.
• Develop and implement comprehensive and compelling fundraising collateral including, but not limited to grant proposals, sponsorship packages, call sheets, briefings, and other investor communications.
• Provide leadership with regular reports on progress, outcomes, and trends.
• Ability to meet annual fundraising objectives while innovating new, creative, and aggressive approaches to grow the programs year over year.
• Spearhead prospecting efforts; cultivate new relationships with individuals, non-profits, and corporate partners.
• Utilize CRM systems to track interactions, manage relationships, analyze data, and maintain records.
• Represent the organization at events and conferences to promote fundraising initiatives and build relationships.
• Lead fundraising efforts for Symposiums, Summits, Workshops, Dinner Series, and other educational programs.
• Monitor goals, priorities, and timelines on a regular basis to ensure timely and efficient management and completion of all solicitation efforts and related tasks.
Required Education, Qualifications, and Experiences:
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of two-three years of related experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; extreme professionalism and confidence to liaise with elected leaders, investors, and stakeholders.
• Meticulously detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office with an aptitude to learn new software and systems.
• Familiarity with Crimson, IDP, and other CRM databases.
• Motivation to take initiative, work independently, and collaborate as a member of a dynamic team.
• Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule, including occasional evenings, weekends, and travel.
