Job Description

We’re seeking a detail-oriented, execution-focused Finance Operations Manager to support our growing finance team, with a primary emphasis on accounts receivable and contracts support. This role is critical to keeping our core financial processes running smoothly—from contract preparation and coordination to new client onboarding and invoicing.


You’ll work closely with the Vice President of Finance and cross-functional partners to ensure day-to-day financial processes run smoothly, accurately, and on time. This is an ideal role for someone who is highly organized and eager to build a strong foundation in finance operations.

Key Responsibilities


Accounts Receivable & Client Billing


  • Own the end-to-end accounts receivable process
  • Manage new client financial onboarding, including setting up billing details and systems
  • Prepare, send, and track client invoices on a recurring and ad-hoc basis
  • Monitor collections and follow up on outstanding invoices
  • Resolve billing questions with internal teams and clients


Financial Operations & Close Support


  • Prepare and maintain accurate finance data to support month-end and quarter-end close under the guidance of the VP of Finance
  • Ensure financial records are complete, accurate, and well-organized
  • Support ongoing improvements to finance processes


Contract Review & Tracking


  • Coordinate closely with the Director of Compliance to prepare, review, and execute contracts
  • Track contract terms such as billing schedules, payment terms, and expiration dates


Qualifications & Skills


  • 3+ years of experience in finance, accounting, operations, administration, or a related field preferred but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with numbers
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage deadlines and recurring tasks
  • Comfortable working in spreadsheets and learning new systems
  • Clear communicator who can coordinate effectively across teams
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
  • Experience working with accounting systems such as QuickBooks preferred
