Job Description
Molly Allen Associates (MAA) is now accepting applicants for a full-time Fundraising Coordinator. The Fundraising Coordinator will be a critical member of the Molly Allen Associates team who will work closely with MAA Principals and Associates to execute plans to raise DC Individual & PAC money for Democratic Congressional campaigns and MAA clients.
Molly Allen Associates is based in Washington, DC. The Fundraising Coordinator will work out of our office on Capitol Hill.
Scope:
Work in collaboration with team to meet goals and participate in conception of the strategy for client projects.
Assist with preparation and staffing for events & meetings. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Coordinating with client schedulers;
Drafting invitations;
Tracking RSVPs and pledges;
Coordinating with internal MAA team on event set-up, catering & other logistics;
Preparing nametags & coordinating event check-in process for in-person events.
Conduct database management & donor research.
Assist with calltime preparation and staffing.
Assist with follow up to donors and client staff by phone and email.
Opportunity to participate in preparation of memos and other client reports.
Manage internal tasks and deadlines for team and Principal using Asana software.
Projects are assigned by a principal or higher-level manager.
Set an example for other personnel by upholding company ideals and values.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Recent college graduates must have a minimum of 1-2 office-based internships; Ideal candidates have 6-12 months of previous fundraising experience, relevant campaign experience or congressional office experience.
Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and other Microsoft programs is required.
Knowledge of NGP and/or Aristotle Campaign Manager software preferred.
A commitment through the 2022 Election Cycle is expected.
