Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented, mission-driven professional to join our team as Fundraising Manager. This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations that support the organization's fundraising efforts. Working closely with senior leadership, this position ensures smooth execution of fundraising activities, maintains data integrity, and coordinates workflows across donor engagement initiatives.
The ideal candidate brings 3 or more years of experience in operations, nonprofit fundraising, Capitol Hill, or campaign management, with demonstrated skills in CRM management, project coordination, and writing. This position requires strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, writing, and the ability to support multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment. This role reports to the Chief of Staff and is an integral member of the team.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Project Coordination
- Coordinate fundraising initiatives and stakeholder engagement activities, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met
- Maintain systems that support donor outreach, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship
- Support internal team operations including meeting coordination, task tracking, and calendar management
Fundraising Support & Execution
- Support the execution of fundraising strategies across major gifts, institutional giving, and events
- Assist senior leadership in managing donor relationships through coordinated engagement activities
Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records in the CRM, generating regular reports on fundraising metrics and pipeline activity, ensuring data integrity
- Analyze fundraising data to support strategic planning and decision-making
- Support budget tracking and revenue forecasting
Written Communication
- Create compelling correspondence and reports with donors and prospects, translating CMF priorities into pitch documents
- Prepare materials and briefings to support donor meetings and cultivation efforts
Qualifications
Required:
- 3 or more years of relevant experience in development, operations, political fundraising, Capitol Hill, or nonprofit organizations
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail
- Familiarity with donor cultivation processes and fundraising best practices
- Experience with fundraising CRMs (e.g., HubSpot, EveryAction, Salesforce, Airtable) and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Slack)
- Proven ability to work effectively in fast paced, collaborative team environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $65,000–$80,000 annually
This position also comes with a benefits package including health insurance, paid vacation leave, and (after six months) a 401K match
