General Counsel

The organization seeks a General Counsel to provide advanced legal support within a legislative context. This role involves offering legal advice, drafting bills and amendments, and conducting legal analyses of proposed legislation across various policy areas. The General Counsel will collaborate closely with the Policy Team and the Chief of Staff, managing public information requests and monitoring legal cases. Ideal candidates will have a Juris Doctor degree, be admitted to the organization Bar, and possess experience in legislative review and drafting, particularly in criminal justice and family policy. The position offers a salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 based on experience.
