Responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience working in public affairs, political communications, or political campaigns, or within government.
- 10 years of experience in technology policy, specifically within state and local government, an enterprise software company, think tanks, public interest groups, or relevant industry associations.
- 2 years of direct experience with or in state and local governments, particularly involving enterprise technology services or energy issues.
- Experience with government procurement processes.

Responsibilities
- Develop and lead Google Cloud's policy and government affairs strategy for assigned regional states.
- Manage and coordinate a network of contract lobbyists and public affairs firms to advance proactive policy engagement.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with governors’ offices, state legislators, local elected officials, state agencies, and local permitting authorities.
- Ensure alignment of business priorities, public policy goals, and go-to-market strategies across government affairs and Google cloud.
- Provide advice to executives on regional policy, ensuring alignment with Google Cloud's products and overall strategy.
