Summary
This position is located in the Executive Office of the President (EOP), Office of Management and Budget (OMB), Office of General Counsel (OGC).
Duties
As a Government Information Specialist, GS, 0306, 14, your typical work assignments may include the following:
Processes Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests made to Office of Management and Budget (OMB), Office of General Counsel (OGC).
Resolves a wide range of problems and provide advisory service to management in the operation of an extremely large centralized OMB Records Release program.
Selects, assembles, summarizes, and compiles substantive information by use of statutes, regulation, Presidential documents, bulletins and policy memoranda of the Executive Branch and other legal reference materials.
Exercises discretion and independent judgment in the application of laws, executive orders, regulations, precedents, and agency practices to the FOIA.
