Job Description
Cozen O’Connor Public Strategies is seeking a full-time executive coordinator to support the day-to-day execution, administration, and logistics of our dynamic federal lobbying practice. This role is suited for a highly organized, proactive individual who thrives in a collaborative team environment and wants to contribute meaningfully to high-profile public affairs, advocacy, and stakeholder engagement work. Strong candidates will have exceptional communication skills, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
The position reports to the Director of Operations and will directly support the senior government relations professionals, including the Chief Executive Officer, in the Washington DC office, as well as work closely with teams across various administrative departments at the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain calendars, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel
- Coordinate client billing
- Prepare expense reports, manage reimbursements, invoice processing, and expense tracking using Chrome River
- Assist with new matter forms, conflict checks, and engagement letters
- Assist with federal lobbying disclosure registrations and reports
- Support client relationship management
- Screen and prioritize incoming communications
- Facilitate communication and follow-up with various departments to ensure timely execution of initiatives
- Work with team members to advance internal priorities
- Assist with personal tasks and errands as required
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar role supporting senior leadership
- Prior work in legal, government relations, or public affairs environments strongly preferred
- Familiarity with federal lobbying and compliance requirements a plus
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

- InterAction CRM
- Chrome River
- Zoom, Teams, Google Workspace
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
The salary range for this role is $95,000-110,000 and represents the Firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and location.
