Job Description
The organization seeks a Government Relations Intern to support its efforts in engaging with elected officials and government entities regarding energy efficiency and renewable energy initiatives. This role involves monitoring legislative sessions, tracking state bills, and documenting relevant committee hearings, as well as assisting in the preparation of informational briefings for legislators. The ideal candidate will have completed coursework in public policy or a related field, possess strong communication skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications. This part-time internship, offering $18.00 per hour, is based in the Portland Metro Area and requires a commitment of 15-20 hours per week.
