Job Description
The organization is seeking a detail-oriented Government Relations Intern to support its legislative efforts in Tennessee. This role involves attending daily legislative sessions and committee meetings, providing reports, and creating a weekly newsletter. Interns will also assist in scheduling appointments with state legislators and help with event preparations. Ideal candidates are rising juniors, seniors, or recent graduates with strong writing, research, and critical thinking skills, as well as a keen interest in government or law. The internship requires a commitment to long, irregular hours from January to May and is based in Nashville.
