Governmental Relations Legislative Fellow

The organization is seeking a Governmental Relations Legislative Fellow to support its team during the 2027 the organization General Assembly Session. This hybrid position, based in Henrico, VA, involves tracking legislation, preparing briefing materials, coordinating advocacy activities, and attending legislative meetings. The fellow will gain hands-on experience in the legislative process while assessing the impact of proposed legislation on agricultural operations. Ideal candidates are rising college juniors or seniors with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment. The fellowship starts full-time in January and transitions to part-time hours thereafter.
