Job Description
The Senate Committee on Finance (Democratic staff) is seeking a health policy analyst to join a close, collaborative team that intends to execute an ambitious health agenda. The committee is seeking candidates with demonstrated interest in federal health care programs, including Medicare, Medicaid, and Affordable Care Act marketplaces, to support the chief health advisor and staff members on all aspects of committee work. Specifically, the analyst will oversee health interns and fellows, prepare for briefings and hearings, and provide research and legislative support to professional staff. With experience, the analyst also will cover policy areas for the committee. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and work or volunteer experience is a plus.
