Congressman Moulton is seeking an Immigration Policy Intern in his Washington D.C. office in the Spring semester. The Immigration Policy Intern will gain hands-on experience in the legislative process and the functions of a congressional office, with a specific focus on issues related to U.S. immigration policy.

The Immigration Policy Intern will be expected to:

  • Track and summarize key developments in immigration legislation, regulatory changes, and judicial decisions.
  • Prepare briefing memos for the Congressman and legislative staff on specific immigration policy proposals or constituent concerns.
  • Monitor and research policies relevant to the Congressman's legislative portfolio and committee assignments, particularly those impacting the immigration system.
  • Support staff in preparing for and following up on meetings with immigration advocacy groups, federal agencies, and constituents regarding complex constituent cases.

Internships are intended for current undergraduate students, current graduate students, and recent college graduates. 

Interns receive a stipend distributed based on total hours worked.
