Legislative Director

The organization is seeking a Legislative Director to spearhead its government affairs strategy nationwide, focusing on shaping public policy and securing funding for the organization infrastructure and public safety initiatives. This role involves building relationships with elected officials, monitoring legislative trends, and drafting advocacy materials to promote the organization's mission. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in government relations or public policy, preferably with a military background, and possess strong communication and organizational skills. This remote position is preferably based on the east coast and requires travel for meetings and events.
