Legislative Fellow (Fall 2027)

The organization seeks a Legislative Fellow for Fall 2027 to support its Policy and Advocacy Team in enhancing the organization protections. This role involves tracking and analyzing legislation across all 50 states, providing technical assistance to advocates, conducting legal research, and drafting public education materials. The ideal candidate will hold a J.D. and possess strong research and writing skills, with one to three years of post-law school experience preferred. The position is based in New York City or Washington, D.C., and operates in a hybrid model, requiring three days in-office and two days remote.
