Legislative Intern

The organization is seeking a part-time Legislative Intern to support its operations at the State Capitol in Hartford. This role involves assisting with research, writing testimony, attending meetings, and preparing reports, as well as facilitating communication among lawmakers and constituents. Interns will also participate in hearings and legislative sessions, contributing to documentation and analysis of the legislative process. Ideal candidates should possess strong communication and analytical skills, be organized, and demonstrate a keen interest in public policy or government, while being enrolled full-time in a the organization college or university with a minimum GPA of 2.7.
